Statement of Faith

Keys Evangelistic Ministries is an evangelical non-denomination ministry holding to the essential truths of Holy Scripture as of first importance (1 Corinthians 15:3-8), to the summary of faith of the Nicene Creed and to the five Solas of the Reformation.

  1. Sola Scriptura: We believe that Holy Scripture alone is the standard.
  2. Sola Fide: We believe that Justification is by Faith alone.
  3. Sola Gratia: We believe that we are saved by Grace alone.
  4. Solo Christo: We believe in the completed work of Christ alone.
  5. Soli Deo Gloria: We believe all things are for the glory of God alone.

The Bible

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Hebrews 1:8 and 9:14; 1 John 5:7&8; Genesis 1:26; John 1:14; John 10:20.

The Lord Jesus

We believe in the deity of Christ Jesus, He is both truly God and truly Man, two natures in one divine and glorious person. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. John 1:1; Luke 1:31-35; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22; acts 2:22; Romans 5:1, 8-10; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 and 22-24; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is being sanctified and enabled to live a godly life in this preset evil world. John 16:8, 13-14; Romans 6:6, 11; 8:9; Galatians 5:16&25; Ephesians 1:13; 4:30.

Salvation

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We are saved by Grace through Faith in the completed work of Christ on the cross. We can add nothing to our salvation by our own efforts. We believe that true faith is never alone, but good works will be evidence of such faith as they flow from a thankful heart. Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7; Titus 3:5.

The Resurrection

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation. Luke 24:39; 1 Corinthians 15:22-24; Revelation 20:11-15; Luke 13:23-28; 2 Thessalonians 1:9.

Spiritual Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ. Ephesians 4:1-7; 1 Corinthians 12:13.

The Church's Mission

The mission and commission of the Church, which is Christ's body, is to proclaim the message of reconciliation and is to endeavor to make all men see the hope of salvation and their need to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Personal Savior. Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 10:9-15; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.
